8 Tips for Healthier and Cleaner Teeth

We all want to have healthy, white and clean teeth. However, we can’t achieve this if we don’t take care of it well. Cleaner Teeth 


Our lifestyle also affects the condition of our teeth. If you love drinking wine, black tea, soda and still complain why you don’t have white teeth, you should check your lifestyle again. Puffing cigarettes and eating colored foods will stain your teeth. It’s important that you do a white-teeth diet. Brush your teeth right after you drink or eat these kinds of foods, and then use a good bleaching agent.  

Check Your Toothbrush 

You might want to take a look at your toothbrush. Have you been using it for the past three months? Then you should change it. Not changing toothbrush for a while will only transfer more bacteria from the brush to your mouth. There’s also a proper way to brush your teeth. Place the brush at least 45 degree angle to your mouth and move it in circular motion. Don’t scrub your teeth too hard.  

Clean Your Tongue 

Don’t forget your tongue on your mouth cleaning routine. Use a tongue scraper every morning to have a fresh breath and remove those plaques. Don’t let those bacteria build-up on your tongue because it only worsens the bad breath. The tongue scraper is also more effective than the toothbrush.  

Gargle with Apple Cider Vinegar 

If you want to achieve healthier teeth; gargle with apple cider every morning. The vinegar will help whiten the teeth, remove the stains and kill bacteria in your gums and mouth.  

Eat “Detergent” Foods 

Crisp or firm foods can help clean your teeth while you’re eating them. The nature’s toothbrush is the apple, and some options include celery, raw carrots and popcorn. To achieve the best results, eat these kinds of foods after your meal.  

Try Baking Soda 

Using baking soda as your toothpaste at least once a week also helps remove the stubborn stains and whiten your teeth. Spit it out after you brush so you can’t intake the sodium. If the gums feel raw or whatever; brush your teeth using salt.  

Stay Fresh 

You can check if your breath is fresh by licking a portion of your palm and smell. It if doesn’t smell great, eat a breath mind to stay fresh. Try using an alcohol-free mouthwash to keep your breath fresh too. Don’t buy the one with alcohol because it might dry out the tissues.  

Floss Your Teeth 

Aside from brushing your teeth, flossing will help you a lot too. You can floss anywhere, just practice doing it without a mirror. Flossing will help you remove those food residues that get stuck between the small spaces in your teeth.
